In everything you do, do it all for the glory of God

Read Hebrews 6:1-8 http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Hebrews%206:1-8&version=NKJV

1 Therefore, leaving the discussion of the elementary principles of Christ, let us go on to perfection, not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God, 2 of the doctrine of baptisms, of laying on of hands, of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.

Hebrews 6:1-2

Are you growing spiritually? Maybe you have been saved and given your life to Christ, now are you growing as a Christian? As Christians we must strive towards perfection. We should be striving in everything thing we do to act as we should, learning from the perfect example set by the Lord Jesus Christ.

It’s might be hard, but we mustn’t carry on as Christians without addressing the areas in our lives that are sinful. It’s not a matter of being saved, and then that’s it. After we give our lives to Christ we must try to be like Christ in everything we do, whether that be at Church, school, work, when we are out with friends. Everything we must do to glorify Christ. “Therefore whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God” 1 Corinthians 10:31.

Ask God to search your heart, and to show you the things that are displeasing to Him. Ask Him to remove these things from your life and to make you like His Son, Jesus. Seek to grow spiritually and ask God to show you how to grow in your Christian life; knowing one day God will make you perfect!
